My computer crashed a few days before I went into labor and this is the first time I've had a chance to get it up and running since...

I went into labor on the 28th and after 12 hours of contractions, I ended up having an emergency c-section after the baby went into distress when they gave me an epidural.  He was born on May 29th at 10:23 in the morning and weighed in at 8lbs even.  I love him more than I ever thought possible and being a mother is absolutely amazing.  Wayne is a natural Dad and he's been wonderful.  I can honestly say that it is a real team effort and we've never been happier.  I don't think I've ever loved him more.  Seeing this little person that has come from us and resembles us both in different ways is just the most beautiful experience of my life.
We're exsausted and sleep deprived but we're loving every minute of it.  I wish I had the presents of mind to say more, but I'm way to tired.  I'll give a full report soon.  Thank you all for your well wishes and lovely emails - we're home - healthy and happy.
